Who is sultan Ali Khan(Haryana Boxer)? what has he achieved?

Does the SULTAN exist and what has  he achieved?

There is no such Boxer/Wrestler named as SULTAN. It  is just a fictional character created for the movie played by Salman Khan. It may have taken inspiration from wrestlers but it is not based on any single guy. It is true, there is no actual person named SULTAN, no such famous wrestler in Haryana. When the director says 'based in haryana', it means the character of the movie is based in Haryana. If you have any doubt then if you search about Sultan Ali Khan on Google You will not get any information about sultan. Because it's not real character. You all know what is google. Google knows everything. If google doesn't have information about Olympics champion data, that means it's fake. It's not a bio based movie its just a marketing tricks to hit Sultan Movie.

According to movie Sultan Had Won Gold medal for India in 2002 London Olympics. But there is No such Boxer Or Wrestler in Indian History who had won Gold medal for India in Olympics.(Vijender Singh Had Won Silver Medal in Boxing At 2008 Beijing Olympics & Sushil Kumar(Wrestler) had won Bronze in 2008 Beijing Olympics & a silver medal in 2012 London Olympics)

A man from Muzaffarpur in Bihar has filed a cheating case against Sultan's team including Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma and producer Yash Raj Films and director Ali Abbas for copying his real life story.

The case is filed by Sabir Ansari on 8th july at CJM court in Muzaffarpur in Bihar as he claimed that the entire film depicted his real life from the beginning to the end. In his petition, Ansari added that Salman Khan had promised to pay him Rs.20 crore but he could not stick to his word.
Ansari added that Salman Khan had himself contacted him for the film but later he was informed by the production house that the film had been shelved. However, after the film was released, Ansari felt cheated and that's when he decided to take a step against the whole team, While there is no confirmation of such a case being registered from production house or the team, a report y Indian Today  claims that the next hearing is scheduled for July 12.

It is also said that the character if Salman is based on the Gama Pehalwan of course lot of masala added as per movie sense. Undefeated in a career spanning more than 50 years, he is considered one of the greatest wrestlers of all time a world wide record.

He was pitted against world champion Stanislaus Zbyszko and the date of bout was set as 10  september 1910. The match was contested over prize money and the John Bull Belt as winning prizes. Within a minute, Zbyszko was taken down and remained in that position for the remaining 2 hours and 35 minutes of the match. There were a few brief moments when Zbyszko would get up, but he just ended back down in his previous positions. Crafting a defensive strategy of hugging the mat in order to nullify Gama's greatest strengths, Zbyszko wrestled the Indian legend to a draw after nearly three hours of gripping, though Zbyszko's lack of tenacity angered many of ht fans in attendance.  The two men were set to face other again but Zbyszko didn't show up and Gama was announced victor.

During this tour Gama defeated some of the most respected grapplers in the world, "DOC" Benjamin Roller of the United states, Maurice Deriaz of France, Johann Lemm(the European Champion) of Switzerland, and Jesse Peterson(World Champion) from Sweden. In the match against Roller, Gama threw "Doc" 13 TImes in the 15 minutes match. Gama now issued a challenge to the rest of those who laid claim to the world Champion's Title, including Japanese Judo champion taro Miyake, George Hackenschmidt of Russia and Frank Gotch of hte United States-each declined his invitation to enter the ring to face him. At one point, in order to face some type of competition, Gama offered to fight to twenty English wrestlers, one after another. He announced that he would defeated all of them to pay out prize money, but still no one would take up his challenge.
